Gambling Therapist Vacancy
Location: Beckenham, Kent
Salary: £24,387.24 Plus OLW £1,812 and On-Call payment at £20 for each duty shift covered
Overall Purpose: To work as part of a team providing therapeutic interventions and effective support to the established Gordon Moody Association's Residential Rehabilitation Programme. This is to be delivered in a way that empowers clients to overcome their addiciton to gambling and move forward with their recovery.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join our unique Residential Treatment Centre team based in Beckenham, Kent.
Gambling Therapist: Working within a small therapy team you will provide a range of therapeutic group and 1-1 interventions using CBT, Motivational Interviewing and other person-centered approaches to residents as part of our bespoke Residential Programme.
We are seeking applicants with experience of supporting vulnerable individuals within a therapeutic environment, through assessment and planning, and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to support a small but intensive caseload and ideally have experience of working in a residential or structured therapeutic environment.
Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work under own initiative and with vulnerable groups. Knowledge of the benefits system, addiction, mental health, or group-work within a health and social care setting are desirable
