Location: Regular travel to Dudley and other venues, including flexible working. 

Salary & Benefits: £24,387 - 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays - 6% pension.  

Hours: 28-35 hours per week Monday – Friday (4-5 days negotiable)    

The Gordon Moody Association provides a Mixed Model of Care (MMOC) treatment programme for both women and men with severe gambling problems. 

This is provided through a two-stage therapeutic retreat programme combined with remote/at home counselling support. On treatment completion, we offer ongoing outreach recovery support, and through this new role we wish to enhance and strengthen this provision, along with the addition of pre-treatment support. 

Reporting into the MMOC Programme Manager, the new key position of Outreach Recovery Worker will have the responsibility for establishing both pre and post-treatment support for attendees of the MMOC.  

We are excited to now recruit someone with the skills & experience to be able to provide the following:

  • Support people affected by addiction/gambling addiction
  • Manage a caseload to support people in recovery
  • Provide support creatively, remotely and flexibly
  • Committed to service user involvement 
  • Relevant advice, counselling or addiction training
