Residential Support Worker (Beckenham)
Would you like to make a difference to individuals affected by an addiction to gambling?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join our unique Residential Treatment Centre team based in Beckenham, Kent.
Support Worker: This pivotal Support Worker role will work as part of our small Beckenham team in providing effective support to the established Gordon Moody Association’s Residential Rehabilitation Programme. This is to be delivered in a way that empowers clients to overcome their addiction to gambling and move forward with their recovery.
Candidates should have experience of working in a structured health and social care environment (hostel, residential, care home or similar)
We are looking to recruit a candidate with excellent organisation skills, including support planning and working with vulnerable groups.
Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under their own initiative and with vulnerable groups. Knowledge of the benefits system, addiction, mental health, or group-work within a health and social care setting are desirable.
