Residential Support Worker (Beckenham)

 

Location:  Beckenham, Kent.

Residential Treatment Centre supporting men with gambling disorder/addiction

Two positions available; one full time for 35 hours per week, and one part time 25-28 hours, within Monday to Fridays daytime, with Saturdays on a rota basis

Salary – FTE £21,977 Both are permanent roles with additional OLW £1,812 pa, plus duty on call payments, 6% pension, and 28 days leave + bank holidays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two dynamic individuals to join our unique Residential Treatment Centre team based in Beckenham, Kent.

The Support Workers will play a key role within a small delivery team to provide information, support and guidance, to the residents in our Residential Treatment Programme.

Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work under own initiative, and experience of working with vulnerable groups. Knowledge of the benefits system, addiction, mental health, advocacy or group-work within a health and social care setting are desirable.
