Male Residential treatment

Our residential treatment programme begins with an initial two week assessment followed by 12 weeks of treatment and all clients live here full time for the duration of their stay.

To consider your application we need a form fully completed called the Gambling Audit which you can complete online by clicking the button at the bottom of this page

Following our initial assessment we will contact you to let you know the options. We may need to gain some more information from you or refer you to another support service. Once we have received all the supporting information we need, the referrals team will make a decision and you will be contacted to inform you of the next stage.

What happens next?

If we believe that you will benefit from the residential programme you will be invited to begin a two week residential assessment at one of the residential treatment centres. During this time we will work with you to establish whether the 12 week programme is likely to be of real benefit to help your recovery and it will prepare the foundations for the course. On successful completion of the two week assessment stage your 12 week treatment programme will begin.

Cost of treatment

For those who cannot pay for treatment there are no direct costs to the individual for our services as we are a charity which seeks funding from other sources to carry out our work.

The accommodation costs are not externally funded however and applicants need to be eligible for UK state benefits in order to pay their accommodation and living costs or be able to fund the cost of the accommodation from other sources. This will be discussed with you at initial assessment stage. We also have a small bursary fund for those exceptional circumstances where people are unable to secure state benefits and have no other means of paying their accommodation costs.

Whilst the treatment is free to clients if you are able to contribute to the cost of the service or have an employer who is willing to sponsor your stay this will help us to ensure that the service can continue to be available.

All application forms are retrieved Monday to Friday between 09:00 & 16:00. We try in all cases to contact you within 48 hrs of your application being received.
